Taking BIG Steps of Faith
I am so thankful for all of you that have been praying with me as I have been waiting on the Lord for direction. I am excited to say that over the course of the last few months He has answered and confirmed our prayers.

After serving with Galway Ministries over the summer I am thrilled to announce He has confirmed again and again that I should go back and partner with them as a full time missionary. We will be focused on establishing healthy, Bible teaching churches throughout Ireland, starting with our very first church plant, New Hope Calvary Chapel Galway. My roles within the church include worship discipleship, youth outreach, community outreach, and so much more.

The sending process has begun! There is a lot that goes into being sent as a missionary. I'm so blessed to have a wonderful sending church that is very gracious and helpful in during this phase. I thought I'd share a bit of the process with you.
In order to go I need:
Housing. I gotta have a place to live.
Funding. The visa I can apply for restricts my ability to work in Ireland. This means I must be fully funded by those the Lord inspires to donate. Also, with much wisdom, my sending church requires 75% of my budget coming in for 3 consecutive months before I can be sent out.
A Visa. I have to be legal.
A sending team. I need to seek the Lord and assemble a wonderful team of people that will be helpful in handling encouragement, logistics, prayer, finances, administration, etc while I am overseas. (I am so excited about this!!)
Talking to different churches. I enjoy the privilege of being able to call different churches and get them involved with the ministry in Ireland. It is clear He is doing something much bigger than me!
Cross cultural training. Part of my sending requirement is having some cross cultural training. I'm enrolling in a month long program in North Carolina.
And all those little things that come up here and there.
With all of these things going on I really covet your prayers!
How can you pray?
Pray for the Irish church to be encouraged and strengthened in the Word.
Pray that churches would be open to hearing about the work God is doing in Ireland.
Pray for obedience in those that the Lord is calling to bless this ministry financially.
Pray for the Lord’s wisdom in choosing a sending team and the continued growth of wisdom within the team.
Pray for the visa and housing situation to be Spirit led.
Pray for funding for cross cultural training.
Pray for me to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and continually growing in this season.
Obedience to the Lord can be very costly, but there is nothing more worth the cost than serving the Lord in surrendered obedience.
“But don’t begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it? Otherwise, you might complete only the foundation before running out of money, and then everyone would laugh at you. They would say, ‘There’s the person who started that building and couldn’t afford to finish it!’ Luke 14:28-30
Thank you so much for your fantastic prayers and support!
